Gamescom is set to be held in Cologne, Germany this month with a huge roster of attendees across the gaming, extended reality (XR) and development industries.
Nearly 1,100 exhibitors from 53 countries will attend this mega event, including Activision Blizzard, Amazon Web Services, TikTok, Pico Interactive, Sega Europe, AMD and many more.

Pico Interactive tweeted on Wednesday that it will be joining the event in Hall 9, Stand B40, adding that it looks forward to seeing attendees, “interact with partners and chat about all things” related to Neo 3 Link, virtual reality and gaming.

The organization was one of several companies that signed up for the Metaverse Standards Forum, a massive organization of more than 30 tech companies, individuals, and associations, including the XR Association, Meta Platforms, Epic Games, Adobe, and many more.
The company, which specializes in motion capture (mocap), virtual reality, avatars and world building, will bring its expertise in interoperability and standards to the forum as the industry aims to build the Metaverse.
Gerald Boss, President and CEO of Koelnmessehe said, that experience gained from Gamescom’s virtual events allowed the coordinators to establish the current event as a “wow for all involved.”
