The open and free competition seeks “practical and recognized” proposals for a new home for FC Bokelj which currently occupies a spacious 19,997m2 site in the Škaljari neighborhood in the center of the coastal settlement of Kotor.

The project will provide a new stadium for the club with a capacity of 2,500 to 3,000 people which includes a private entrance for players and staff, a media area, retail facilities, bus parking and VIP transport.

The aim of the competition is to select the best conceptual architecture design for the FC Bokelj stadium in the Škaljari district of Kotor. The conceptual design is expected to propose a recognizable functional solution that will be the basis for the preparation of technical documentation in the next phases of this project.

Located in the secluded Bay of Kotor, Kotor is a small coastal town of about 13,000 inhabitants that has become a major tourist destination in recent decades. Local highlights include the Venetian fortifications of Kotor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The overall winner, who will be announced on March 16, will receive a prize of €15,000, while a second prize of €7,000 and a third prize of €5,000 will also be awarded.
