Starbucks Odyssey is gearing up for its second NFT Drop contest

Dubbed the “First Store Collection,” this new store is expected to arrive on April 19 and features 5,000 stamps or NFT collectibles minted on Polygon, with each lot available for $100.

The company’s statement describes the new group as a Multimedia collages, in-store items, and highlight icons Inspired by Seattle’s first coffee chain store. Fans who pick up an item from this collection will receive 1,500 points towards rewards that will be added to their Starbucks Odyssey app. What’s more, those with more than two NFTs from the first set will get early access to the latest mint.

A Starbucks Odyssey public launch is imminent

Plus, there’s even more exciting news for fans of the black stuff. After months of experimentation with a closed beta, the platform’s public rollout is imminent. The company recently hinted to beta testers via email that they are getting closer to the official launch.

However, once the second NFT drop is complete, Starbucks Odyssey will shift its focus to rewarding beta users based on the number of points they have earned. Perks will be available starting April 24, including access to a virtual coffee making class, and the chance to help those in need by making a donation to the charity Feeding America.

Other notable bonuses include the chance to name a tree on the company’s Costa Rican coffee plantation, or unlimited free coffee for a month. Points are earned on the app by completing in-app objectives such as buying drinks from company stores or interacting with their content.
