The leading French art museum, Pompidou Centre, to showcase the best NFT artwork starting this spring. The announcement was made on February 10 by the museum via its official Twitter account. The goal is to cater to the fast-growing Web3 art space where the blockchain intersects with art in the form of non-fungible tokens.

For a start, the museum will display art from over 16 digital artists around the world. Some common names include CryptoPunks and Autoglyph. The former offered Donation to CryptoPunk #110, and the latter, Autoglyph #25; Both will be available to be enjoyed by fans of Web3 artwork.

The exhibition marks the first time that NFTs have been shown at the Center Pompidou. The museum is home to some of the masterpieces of world-famous artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Henri Matisse, and Frida Kahlo.

The Center Pompidou benefits from the Legacy Yoga project
According to Yuga Labs, the donation is part of its longtime project, which aims to give Punks for free to leading art institutions around the world that want to display Web3 artwork. To date, the company has already donated CryptoPunk #305 to the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami.
Commenting on the recent donation, Greg Solano, co-founder of Yoga Labs, pointed this out “Seeing CryptoPunk #110 on display at Center Pompidou, arguably the most famous contemporary art museum in the world, is a great moment for the Web3 and NFT ecosystem, and we are honored to help drive this cultural conversation.”
