It was a true rainbow of fashion on a gray and rainy hue Coronation day of King Charles III.
A mix of royals, celebrities, world leaders and dignitaries flocked to Westminster Abbey to witness Coronation of Charles and Queen Camilla.
While the royals stuck to traditional regalia, the day’s other guests were cheerfully colorful and adorable charmers.
under her royal robe, Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, wears an ivory silk crepe dress by Alexander McQueen decorated with roses embroidered with silver bullion, thistles, daffodils and motifs of shamrocks – a reference to the peoples of the United Kingdom. She was also wearing a pair of pearl earrings containing lots of diamonds, which previously belonged to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.
Like her mother, Princess Charlotte wore a matching dress with matching appliqués, and both Kate and Charlotte wore custom-studded silver bullion and Jess Colette and Alexander McQueen crystal headpieces with silver thread work.
singer Kate Berry She appeared in a pink Vivienne Westwood designer dress with matching bodice and tulle slit while Dame Emma Thompson dazzled in a red Emilia Wickstead coat adorned with flowers – a nod to the national symbol of England.
US First Lady Dr. Jill Biden attended with her granddaughter Finnegan Biden, both dressed in monochrome outfits, one yellow and one blue, said to represent the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
The dress code for the day called for ladies to wear daytime dresses, while men were called upon to wear coats, suits or uniforms in the morning. Many of them wore national dress or decorations and wore insignia important to their country.
